Litecoin was not only the first form of cryptocurrency offered after Bitcoin created the niche, it was also the first currency to be referred to as an alt-coin, or alternative coin. The Litecoin logo is similar to that of other forms of cryptocurrency in that it uses a single letter as a symbol. In the case of Litecoin, the capital letter L is featured and includes an angled dash through the upright arm of L. The reverse side of the copper bar is blank.
