1 Gram PAMP Suisse Fortuna Palladium Bar

  • Description

PAMP Suisse is by far the most recognizable precious metals brand in the world today. From its base in Switzerland, this refinery produces some of the most desirable bullion bars that are coveted around the globe. Its most popular design is the Fortuna bar, which comes in a variety of precious metals and sizes. Fortuna was the name given to the ancient Roman goddess of fortune. Often depicted wearing a veil or blindfold, Fortunas role in Roman life extended beyond mythology and into early Roman religions, where she was viewed as a personification of luck. The luck she would bring believers was not guaranteed to be good luck, as some were cursed with bad luck. Palladium is a rare precious metal that is often confused with platinum. In fact, palladium is actually grouped in the platinum group metals with elements such as platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, and iridium. In addition to precious metal rounds, coins, and bars, you can find palladium in the catalytic converters of automobile engines and even dental instruments. On the obverse side of the 1 Gram PAMP Suisse Fortuna Palladium bar youll find the left-profile image of the goddess Fortuna. This depiction shows Fortuna wearing a blindfold over her eyes, with a cornucopia atop her head spilling forth riches down into her hands. The reverse side of the bar has the four concentric circles that makeup the PAMP Suisse logo, followed by engravings of the bars weight, metal content, and purity. Youll also find the assayers mark and individual serial number directly on the bar, coinciding with the mark and numbers on the assay card.
